Ãâ»ê¿¹Á¤ÀÏ EDD: Estimated Date of Delivery

A normal pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). The gestational age and Estimated Date if Delivery (EDD) are calculated from the first day of your last menstrual period. However when the date of the LMP is uncertain, an ultrasound exam may be done during the first trimester to estimate the due date.

Prenatal Care

It is important to start prenatal care at the beginning of pregnancy as it is integrated according to your gestational age. Prenatal testing should consider the health risk of each individual and plan accordingly. Generally pregnant women without risk should plan screening and regular examinations, and if there is a risk factor, appropriate counseling and follow-up consultation should take place.
